On-line planning information

You are entering an on-line internet service providing basic planning information.

This information will be gradually expanded. Our aim is to provide a top quality information and search facility to assist all users of the planning system, in line with the government's e-planning objectives.

Stage 1 - Now implemented.

  • You are able to view basic application details such as:
    • Site address
    • Status - pending or determined
    • Proposal - proposed works
    • Applicant - name and address
    • Agent - name and address
    • Contact - officer dealing with the application
  • This information is available for all applications registered since January 2002 to 11th March 2010
  • All streets have information added for this period back to 1948

Stage 2 - Now implemented.

  • For current applications received from 1st November 2005 you may view a scanned version of the application form, location plan, supporting information and plan(s) of proposed work, plus copies of representations and consultation replies received, plus also a copy of the Decision Notice for concluded applications. Documents for all applications received from 1st January 2004 are also available for viewing.
  • You can make comments on current applications by email

Stage 3 – Now implemented

  • You will be able to find details of decisions on applications going back to 1948 and any constraints relating to the property/land.

Additional planning information is also available:-

  • A map showing Ward boundaries
  • Names, address of Councillors

Great care is taken to ensure that information given is correct, but we are unable to offer guarantees. Information used is at the users risk. Particular care is needed for example in considering possible alternative addresses of sites.
